Equipment rental

Rental activities are part of Kara’s core business. We support local projects that require mostly versatile smaller cranes and equipment via our principle company. Also at large construction sites, Kara provides complete fleets of smaller and larger cranes, port vehicles and additional equipment. The service to mobilize a huge range of equipment to serve rental activities is often considered a competitive advantage. It offers customers extra on-site flexibility and may support other contractors to achieve better streamlined scheduling and logistics. Examples of rental services are found in the Petrochemical sector, the offshore sector, the Power sector, and the civil sector.

Most of our rental cranes are in the range of 30 - 1250 tons capacity and can be dispatched by sea, roads and railways to any destination. Reservations and logistics are managed from local offices. Kara manages the reservations and logistics, in co-operation with the partner offices in the Asian Pacific, the Middle East, CIS and Europe. An advantage of Kara Trans rental contracts is that the unexpected need for extra equipment, immediate repair and replacement, is ensured at all times. Kara Trans also provides trained crews to operate the cranes and manage logistics services. They ensure the compliance with Kara’s HSE-Q standards and thus contribute to quick and safe operations.
